01 Our commitment

Alden Search LLC is dedicated to providing a digitally accessible experience for individuals with disabilities. We continuously refine the usability of our website (aldensearch.com) and our recruiting services by implementing recognized accessibility standards.

For us, accessibility is not merely a compliance exercise — it is a fundamental part of how we operate. As a recruiting firm that serves candidates from every background, we hold ourselves to the standard that our own digital platforms must be fully usable by everyone — including people who browse with screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, magnification software, switch devices, or other alternative input methods.

Need an accommodation? If you encounter any difficulty using our website or engaging with our process, please reach out at accessibility@aldensearch.com or call +1 (877) 634-8190. Our team will reply within two business days and offer a workaround or remediation plan.

02 Conformance standard

We have built our website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standard, as defined by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). WCAG 2.1 AA is the benchmark cited by the US Department of Justice for ADA Title III compliance and is broadly recognized as the industry standard for accessible digital content.

Where relevant to our cross-border activities, we additionally follow Section 508 of the US Rehabilitation Act and the European Accessibility Act (EAA).

03 Accessibility features

Our website incorporates the following accessibility features across every page:

3.1 — Visual design

  • Color contrast ratios meet or surpass WCAG AA thresholds (4.5:1 for standard text, 3:1 for large text);
  • Color is never the sole means of conveying information; text labels, icons, or shapes always accompany color cues;
  • All text remains fully readable and functional when enlarged up to 200%;
  • High-contrast focus indicators are displayed on every interactive element.

3.2 — Keyboard & navigation

  • Every feature on the site can be operated using only a keyboard (Tab, Enter, Space, Escape, Arrow keys);
  • The tab sequence mirrors the visual reading order of the page;
  • Skip-to-content links appear on pages with multiple sections;
  • There are no keyboard traps anywhere on the site;
  • Browser-level user preferences, including prefers-reduced-motion, are respected.

3.3 — Screen readers & structure

  • Semantic HTML5 elements (nav, main, article, aside, section) are employed consistently;
  • Heading levels (h1 through h4) are arranged in a logical, sequential order;
  • ARIA labels and roles are applied to all interactive components;
  • Every image carries a descriptive alt attribute (or an empty alt when the image is purely decorative);
  • Form inputs are paired with associated labels, helper text, and inline error messages.

3.4 — Multimedia

  • Video content (where present) is accompanied by synchronized captions and descriptive transcripts;
  • Audio content is supplemented with a full text transcript;
  • Media does not auto-play by default.

04 Assistive technology

We regularly test our website for compatibility with the assistive technologies listed below, using current operating systems and browsers:

Assistive technologyTested with
VoiceOver (macOS, iOS)Safari, Chrome
NVDA (Windows)Firefox, Chrome, Edge
JAWS (Windows)Chrome, Edge
TalkBack (Android)Chrome
Dragon NaturallySpeakingChrome
Browser zoom & magnifiersAll major browsers, up to 400%

If you rely on an assistive technology not included above and experience any issues, we encourage you to report them — your feedback helps us improve.

05 Known limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, certain portions of our website may not yet meet every requirement. The following known limitations are currently being addressed:

  • Interactive US map: the location markers on our "Our Offices" map are built with SVG and support keyboard interaction, but voice-control users may need to rely on a tab-based fallback. A fully accessible text-only office directory appears directly beneath the map.
  • Third-party embeds: Google Maps iframes (used to display individual office locations) depend on Google’s own accessibility implementation, which falls outside our direct control.
  • Live chat widget: for the optimal live-chat experience, we suggest using Chrome or Edge paired with NVDA.

Remediation efforts are underway for each of these items, and we welcome reports of any additional barriers you encounter.

06 Third-party content

Certain content on our website may originate from third parties, including embedded maps from Google, partner logos, or career portals managed by client employers. The accessibility of such content is determined by the practices of those external providers, over which Alden Search exercises limited control. We prioritize selecting third-party vendors whose products conform to WCAG 2.1 AA, and we are happy to work with you to arrange an accessible alternative for any third-party content that presents a barrier.

07 Feedback & assistance

Your input on the accessibility of our website and services is valuable to us. If you run into an accessibility obstacle or have ideas for improvement, please get in touch:

  • Email: accessibility@aldensearch.com
  • Phone: +1 (877) 634-8190 · option "Accessibility & Accommodations"
  • Mail: Alden Search LLC, Attn: Accessibility Officer, 315 Park Avenue South, 18th Floor, New York, NY 10010

Our goal is to acknowledge accessibility feedback within two (2) business days and to deliver a fix, workaround, or accessible alternative within fifteen (15) business days, depending on the complexity of the issue.

08 Formal complaints

Should you feel that an accessibility concern has not been properly resolved, you have the right to submit a formal complaint to:

  • The US Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division — www.ada.gov or 1-800-514-0301 (voice) / 1-800-514-0383 (TTY);
  • Your state Attorney General’s office;
  • For California residents: the California Civil Rights Department at calcivilrights.ca.gov.

09 Ongoing improvement

Our accessibility program is a living initiative that evolves over time. As part of this commitment, we:

  • Run quarterly automated accessibility scans with axe DevTools and WAVE;
  • Commission independent accessibility specialists to perform annual manual audits;
  • Provide accessibility training to every designer and engineer during their onboarding;
  • Embed accessibility acceptance criteria into the specification for every new feature;
  • Actively seek and respond to feedback from assistive-technology users.

This statement underwent its most recent review and update in April 2026 and is reassessed no less than once per year.
